Search Tips

Searching from this site, powered by the (now-defunct) Fluid Dynamics Search Engine, helps you find documents on this website and related sites. Enter one or more keywords or a phrase in the sidebar search box. The search engine responds by giving you a list of all the Web pages in our index relating to those topics. The most relevant content will appear at the top of your results.

Search Term(s)
Separate words with a space. The more specific your terms, the more relevant your results.
Phrases
To find an exact phrase, use "double quotation marks" around the phrase.
Capitalization
Searches are case insensitive. Searching for "PTSD" will match "ptsd" and "Ptsd".
Including or Excluding Words
To always include a specific word, place a plus (+) directly before the keyword.
To exclude a specific word, place a minus (-) directly before the keyword.
Example: To find combat PTSD, excluding dissociation, search for PTSD +combat -dissociation.
Wildcards (*):
By typing an * within a keyword, you can match up to four letters.
Example: Search for trauma* to find traumas, or traumatic.
